Tairua Marina is focused solely on lifestyle and taking the very best care of you and your boat. We have no haul-out, dry dock or slipway facilities, however, these can be found close by in both Whangamata and Whitianga.
The Tairua Harbour is tidal – access out to open water is dependent on the bar depth. Our access channel has a depth of 1.3m at low tide and is dredged regularly.
The development will become an asset for Tairua for years to come.
History
Tairua Marine Limited was formed in 1999 and entered into a joint venture with Pacific Paradise. Tairua Marine Limited is now a solely owned subsidiary of Watts Group Investment Limited.
The Tairua Marina completed its consent process in 2011, construction commenced in July 2013 and we completed the Marina build in April 2014.
Total Marine Services won the contract to build our 95 berth marina after an extensive tendering programme. Round end fingers were selected for the project based on the positive feedback from other projects with the round end finger system.
